Sarah & Phil at De Courceys

This was my first wedding at De Courceys Manor and it did not disappoint.

The whole day was upbeat and relaxed, I started with photographing the girls during bridal preparations at Sarah’s and Phil’s home in Swansea. I always love this part as I get to know who everyone is and have a laugh and joke.

The girls moved to De Courcey’s to finish getting ready in the purpose built suite.

Sarah and her Brother took the classic car for a spin before the ceremony leading to some lovely pictures of them arriving on the sweeping drive.

The ceremony and reception both took place at De Courceys Manor. After meeting up with a nervous Phil who looked dapper in his monochrome suit. I absolutely loved the aesthetic of this wedding, so very cool.

The ceremony went without a hitch, well the couple got hitched lol, and everyone poured out in to the sunshine. The weather was fantastic all day, and guests had to find the shade!

I took Sarah & Phil for a few portraits and returned them promptly to their guests, before the call was made to go inside for speeches and food.

Well, I haven’t laughed so hard in a long while to the Venn diagrams of the best man and welled up at the emotional speeches from the groomsmen.

Before the sun went down I managed another short couple portrait session in the little lane on the grounds, away from pressure of prying eyes of the guests. My fun and relaxed approach to these sessions, makes it easy to capture genuinely beautiful moments.

After a few more drinks in the late afternoon sun, guests started just heading to start the evening reception.

Those drink took their toll on one particular guest, who’s dance moves kept everyone entertained, before the first dance.

Sarah & Phil absolutely smashed their day, everything went incredibly smoothly all thanks to the lovely staff at De Courcerys.
